Dr. Albert B. Simpson was the founder of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. God used him powerfully to call the Church back to wholehearted devotion to Christ and to a living burden for the nations. His life and ministry helped ignite a missionary movement with a deep concern for the unreached peoples of the world.
He proclaimed the all-sufficiency of Jesus Christ—Christ our Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King—and inspired believers to pray, give, go, and send. His ministry legacy contributed to the worldwide Alliance family that is today represented in the Alliance World Fellowship.
Through Dr. Simpson’s vision, the Church was reminded that the Gospel is not only for the reached, but also for the unreached peoples of the earth.
The Church of the Believers of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, Liberia stands in this heritage of biblical faith, missionary passion, and dependence upon the Holy Spirit. We honor the spiritual foundations laid through Dr. Simpson’s ministry by continuing to proclaim Christ, plant churches, train leaders, and reach the unreached people in Liberia and beyond.
